    I agree with parts of much that's been said; but I'll add: try doing some hot yoga if you can - helps with old injuries, flexibility and breathing... just make sure it's actually hot (and I don't mean the punani in da room). Jump rope - the heavy kind - to warm you up before your whole workout... and keep at it - it'll make you lighter on your feet - rhythm or not...
    If rope intervals are good for Thailand's champs, they're good enough for you too; I've found bodyweight squats (full, ass to ankles) really helps open hips for kicks. Iiishh!
