    More likely they got the reference from the 24th of Choi Hong Hi's patterns, Tong Il. Supposed to symbolize his hope that Korea will be reunited. It's more likely that than a shady refrence to North Korean propaganda.

    After Gen. Choi was accepted by NK, he was pressured to make changes to his TKD by Kim Ilsung....hence the creation of the Juche pattern.

    GM McDonald co-hosts Karate Kast a weekly pod-cast. They have had a couple of decent interviews, although the other host Master Pinder can get into the Jesus stuff abit too much for my taste.
