just curious about how shooto A, B and C are being set up here in the states...
i was under the impression that you needed a certain number of "C" fights to compete in "B" events and the same for "B" events to be able to compete in "A" events.
however this looks like "C" is for under 18. are you being sanctioned by the us shooto org? i met the guy who is running shooto in the US when i was in japan back in may '08, and he mentioned that there should be more shooto events starting up here."Face punches are an essential character building part of a martial art. you might want to be clear that you're using the shooto ruleset, rather than putting on a sanctioned shooto event. the guy who is running USA shooto is a really nice guy but you never know how the people in japan might feel about it.
