If its Ron Collins, he's not showing up on the West Virginia Sexual Offender Registry. So he was either found not guilty or he is bullshitting about this situation.

Or he settled out of court which his original post hinted at.

How likely is it that a criminal matter would be settled out of court?

Michael Jackson did it, but I'm not even going to pretend I know jack **** about law. Hopefully Mr.Browning can correct or correlate with my line of thinking.

I believe Michael Jackson settled a civil suit out of court.

"On January 1, 1994, Jackson settled with the Chandler family and their legal team out of court, in a civil lawsuit for $22 million. After the settlement Jordan Chandler refused to continue with Police criminal proceedings. Jackson was never charged, and the state closed its criminal investigation, citing lack of evidence."
Whatever that means.

In the words of author Ron Collins, "This book is a slap in the face of martial arts, martial artists, and so called masters. I have always been a Street Fighter and always will be. Street Fighting isn't a defensive reaction to a situation. It is an aggressive, offensive attack against another person with the intent to kill, cripple or maim."
Drunken Wolverine-Ninja-Kung Fu is Shihan Ron Collins third book for DOJO Press in his Warrior's Collection series. His martial arts experience includes being a notorius "pit fighter"; military service in both the United States Army and Marine Corps; as well as holding Black Belt rank in Koga Black Dragon Ninjitsu and Korean Karate.
His other books include the best selling BLACK DRAGON NINJITSU, Tao of STREET JUJITSU, Anti-Terror Handbook, and Black Dragon Tai Jitsu. A must for students of the hard core systems, this work on strategy and tactics lends a powerful insight into the mentality necessary to fight for survival.
Is this the ron collins we are talking about? Please say it is.

I doubt Ron would have the funds to pay a big money settlement. So I am skeptical that the criminal case(s) would have been dropped and the matter handled civilly.
Its the same Ron Collins.

I am officially declaring my retirement over, I understand the health risks involved but under new light brought before me most recently I have no choice but to return to training. I will now be a devout disciple of Drunken Wolverine Ninjitsu Kung Fu. Because that is simply the greatest thing I have ever read.
Also, they deleted Hedges threads over there and most likely banned him. They are also refusing to allow me to join their forums because I believe a mole from Bullshido informed them that I intended to crush their puny Curveball high score in the arcade section. Such embarrassment would only lead them to Seppuku, thus I shall never receive my verification e-mail.
For shame other forum.
