Anyhow though, we sell green tea extract at my job at the supplement store, and it's in alot of pre-workout energy drinks. I'll consult my big medical book later, but I don't know offhand about any added benefits from drinking it other than the natural caffeine to boost energy, which is what it's normally used for.

I am going to jump on the bandwagon and suggest that if you like green tea, brew your own. But instead of buying bags from a grocery store, splurge on some looseleaf from Peet's or a specialty tea store. That **** is fucking good.

Looseleaf tea is fine, but most of those specialty stores charge so much more it's staggering. In fact, one of the types of tea I wanted to get was 23$ more per 4 ounces at a "specialty tea store" than loose tea of the same type you can get online. That's why you should buy online from a reputable source.
