    Yes, it was a joke.

I don't have my zoological journals or academic textbooks detailing the human digestive system with me at work today, unfortunately.

Edit: actually, I just found one. On page 32 it says "Humans are not natural meat eaters and anyone who says otherwise is wrong". Not my words, the words of Professor Jones of the London University.

I asked for a credible citation.

Do you know what's going to happen if you post another one of these?

    This.

Awesome. Now pray tell, on page 32 of what book, publication or journal??
Read this for flexibility and injury prevention, this, this and this for supplementation, this on grip conditioning, and this on staph. New: On strenght standards, relationships and structural balance. Shoulder problems? Read this.

My crapuous vlog and my blog of training, stuff and crap. NEW: Me, Mrs. Macho and our newborn baby.

New To Weight Training? Get the StrongLifts 5x5 program and Rippetoe's "Starting Strength, 2nd Ed". Wanna build muscle/gain weight? Check this article. My review on Tactical Nutrition here.

t-nation - Dissecting the deadlift. Anatomy and Muscle Balancing Videos.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

I am man enough to admit I have a motherf*cking large crush on TheRuss.

Horus, for Osiris's sake, please ponder about your reply before clicking the "Submit reply" button.

Please. Just think about it for a little while.

    Thank you.

Because I'm feeling just so Goddamned generous today, here's your citation for the third one:

"Dietary fiber: An essential part of a healthy diet", by the Mayo Clinic staff

And here's another one that demonstrates why it's actually a moot point:

Ileal true nitrogen digestibility was similar for all five diets: control, 86.3%; cheese, 89.4%; low beef, 88.6%; high beef, 89.6%; and high beef + RS, 88.7%. Beef, at both low and high intake levels, was as well digested as cheese, suggesting that poor digestibility of meat does not explain the association between meat intake and large bowel cancer risk.
-Silvester et al., "Does digestibility of meat protein help explain large bowel cancer risk?"
