    I know a fellow who did pretty hard ke?po who has this syndrome.

    Didn't stop because of it either.

    Take care of yourself and remember that you're no different than you were before you were diagnosed.

    That is, someone whose aorta is dilating rapidly and could burst open at any moment. Maybe. You don't know unless you're getting echocardiograms on a regular basis. Just because you've been fine so far does not mean you will continue to be, in this particular disease. You can die very suddenly if untreated. Unfortunately many people with Marfan's are not diagnosed until the autopsy.
    But scariness aside, if you see a cardiologist regularly, follow their advice, and your aorta is not getting any bigger... its probably fine to train.
