It's not 10 years though, it's asking people if they have EVER been violently attacked.

Meanwhile I've given you factual evidence here man, it's a point I was trying to make. I could go ask 100 people if they've ever been a victim, all in my old hometown and make up a statistic from that, it would just be very unaccurate.
My only beef with your original post was that you were generalising like hell, reminds me of the tabloid news bandwagons.
Summary of thread.
NY'ers are usually strapped.
Laws for the youthful have gone to **** in the UK. Brits are also overly violent cunts (well if I was born with teeth that fucked up I'd be mad too).
Tharuz will karate chop **** out of you.
Myself and the rest of the NY bullies should be given douche bag hunter licenses to hunt down and beat on stupid **** talking pussies.
Also, I drank the last glass of milk, sorry.
Geez. Frontal lobe? Part of the temporal lobe? Maybe some of the motor cortex?
The fact that this kid can even function properly is a miracle.
That wasn't milk.

Pub lockout has a lot to do with it, we have the same thing here at 3am. You leave for any reason you can't get into any other place. I've seen a violent fight EVERY night i've caught a taxis after lockout.
You don't see as many barfights here since the bouncers are more than capable of making sure you regret starting a fight, but out in the 1-2hour taxis queue there are no officials, everyone is bored, tired and drunk. Ironically enough the purpose of this lockout is to cut down on drunken violence.
Yes definitely I've seen a growing trend in Australia for glass attacks in the past few years, the common denominator seems to be excessive alcohol I couldn't say for certain but almost all if not all glass attacks have occured in pubs & clubs.

XD, I was waiting for someone to make mention of that.

I just hope the stabbed kid can get over it mentally and move on with his life. I can see this either propelling him as a "**** yeah, stabbed in the head and I'm still comin' strong," or debilitating him as a "of course I'll never achieve anything worthwhile or do anything correctly, I was stabbed in the head!"
Let's hope he can go with the former.
