    How to aim higher with the reverse kick? (TKD related)?

    My reverse crescent kick can't go past my waist! What are some stretches I can do for flexibility?

    why would you want to do a reverse crescent kick? a reverse turning kick is a lot better. dip your shoulder right down trying to get it touching the floor turn the head before the leg comes round.

    1. Yes. When I am sitting down, my whole hand goes across my toes when I stretch.

    2. 99 pounds and five foot three. Average, I guess. Not much muscle lol.

    3. 15, turning 16 in November

    4. Two years and eight months

    LOL, i didnt know thats what it was called.......i called it cheat spinning hook or windmill kick, cause some people cant do a spinning hook, so they just spin around and do a ....crescent.


    keep stretching, do stretches at home too instead of just in class. look up expert villiage on the tube, theres a cute tang soo do MILF whose got some useful

    stretching and wall kick drill vids.

    practice adding height to your kick a little at a time until it's higher. Remember that high kicks are part flexibility and part leg and core strength. Make sure your hips are moving correctly.

    Wait a sec.
    If that is the kick then there is no way he cannot get above his waist if he can touch his toes.
    The only thing I could think that he was doing wrong is trying to throw the kick too early.
    or maby he is throwing a completly different kick.
    I cannot belive at this point it is a streching issue.
