Who's interested in a throwdown in Washington either in Seattle or on the greater eastside sometime this month? Anyone own a gym that we could use?
I would be in for a Washington TD.
So how many people are we looking at and anyone have preferences on a date?
Thanksgiving weekend is out for me. I will have to wait till Monday to check other dates...
Might be able to host it at my place, but it is on the small side and some place closer to Seattle might be nice sinse that is more of a "central" location.
So far the only bullies that have met up in Seattle went out for Pool and Booze. I'd be totally down for that though. we could fight after if you want ;)
Neildo, you live out here? Why do I think you're in Cali?
Can I bring my board with a nail through it?

No, i'm in Vancouver. It's a short bus trip. I just need to get my passport sorted out.
You can bring your board if i can bring my Kamagong sticks. I'd really just prefer some drunken wrestling though. No oil checks.

I live in Bellevue, so I'm in favor of the eastside. Does the weekend work best for everyone?
So... I'm guessing thier's not really enough interest to get this going at this time?
I'm interested... Depends on when, though. This weekend I have friends in from Omaha, next weekend my father will be in town. The weekend after that is Thanksgiving. We're about out of November weekends at that point...
I was just asking about November because I'm leaving the beginning of December. So it doesn't have to be in November, but I won't be there (and I know that's why you're all going...).
Where are you going? Are you leaving permanently, or just short-term?
At the TDs I've put together in the past, we've typically had both good turn out and good reviews. I'd put them together so people weren't "just" coming together to kick the **** out of some stranger, but rather to have a "mini-seminar" format during the first part of the day so folks could become a little more knowledgeable about other methods, other techniques, and maybe add a "new toy" to their fight arsenal.
Then they could kick the **** out of strangers. :icon_chee
I've learned about power hits with Filipino sticks, I've learned respect for the power a TKD kick can generate, and I've learned that BJJ really is about what you know, not what belt you wear.
TDs are literally some of the best training events I've attended, because we have yet to have one that's been colored by close-mindedness. They've all been cooperative, supportive, and egos were left at the door.
