lemme guess, you bought it from the club?
I bought it at a fightshop incidentally owned by one of the fellow trainees. I've tried on a black one by BrazilCombat, which I liked much better, but it's cut didn't suit me well.

I guess BJJ gi's are more about using than watching in awe...

I might buy the second gi from Joe Padilla though - a simple and relatively patchless white gi.

you might want to check out www.toraki.com.

custom made, if its not for you then at least there are some tips on there you can keep in the back of your mind of what to look for in the sizes of a gi.

    Great site, thanx!

I might order from them one day, if I don't die of exhaustion sooner than my (yes, it's ugly) first gi...

I actually JUST bought a Padilla & Sons single-weave gi, but I haven't had a chance to train in it yet; however, it seems to fit well after washing and appears to be of relatively high quality. It was a bargain at US$70, although I'm betting that shipping from California to Slovakia costs an arm and a leg. Or are there dealers close-by that you can buy from that have 'em in stock...?

Edit: I also purchased a Fuji single-weave gi online the other day... I'm hoping it's of comparable quality, given that I paid about the same for it (~US$70).
