actually, my stupid-farghing-FrancoCanadianne ami: "Pennsylvania Dutch" arose from a misunderstanding typical of the dumbfucks inhabiting Pennsylvania (cab you tell my in-laws are from PA?): when asked where they were from, the hard-working, plain clothed Shakers replied, "Deutche".
