What part of "born and raised in California" seems to throw your language processing abilities out of whack?

He might be an ethnic Filipino, but that doesn't make the Phillipines "his" country, nor makes the country he was born in a "foreign land". You could say though, that the Phillipines is his ancestral home, or the land of his parents.

How can someone "return" to a land he was not born to begin with? If you say "migrate" rather than "return", then it might make more sense.

Also, why better? Better for whom? Your insistence in trying to follow this argument is making you make some pretty incoherent (retarded) statements.

Fact of the matter is that you started down this line of reasoning off the wrong assumption that Inosanto was born in the Phillipines. Given that you don't know much about the dude, you might want to correct that before trying to argue what he should have done in the past, don't you think?

Don't blame a US-born Filipino for what Filipinos back home do or do not. We are masters of what we do or do not do, our successes or failures, in the countries we are born in or made our countries of residence.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

Haven't had the opportunity to see it, would like to know how it is. Recently picked up Rick Faye's first Panantukan DVD. Pretty basic stuff, which is good for anyone not very familiar with FMA empty hands. Has some decent drills. Hoping the second disc goes a bit more in depth.

Yeah, once I get a moment to sit down and read it, I will get a review up for the FMA forum. It's not very big so it shouldn't take very long to read through.

I don't know much about him.

But he had a video on open hand strikes, and it helped me maximize my use of open palm strikes to the face, in terms of targetting(like ears and what not)

Heard a rumour he claimed bruce lee created the slide step. Anyone know if this is true?
