    Judo vs. BJJ comedy videos

Okay, I could maybe think of a better first post, but

    YouTube - Judo For Jackasses

I guess it was about time somebody spoke up for us frustrated judoka...

I've never seen that video before...hilarious.

However, you should introduce yourself in Newbietown.

Welcome to Bullshido...and remember, always wear protection!

I'm not sure if that particular one has been posted but many of his videos have been.

Thanks for the welcome, I did post in newbietown actually. I've been lurking for a while and I hadn't found references to those videos, but then there are some hundred thousands posts I still have to go through.

I know that this community goes at it full contact and I'm ready to take all kind of anti-n00b trash talk. Mouthpiece and good ukemi FTW!

I couldn't find a thread about those videos, but searching for "Judo For Jackasses" landed me in a very cool thread about Kodokan compared to BJJ... so I guess those are good keywords to start a search with.

As a side note, I wish I could roll with some BJJ practicioners, but in my... continental area it's quite hard to find a BJJ teacher whatsoever, not to mention a GOOD teacher... while good judo instruction is readily available and cheap. I do wonder though, shouldn't newaza be newaza by any other name?

Before you go down that road, I suggest more searching on threads regarding BJJ vs Judo. Read and determine for yourself.

Will do. Just pretend I didn't post that last paragraph. I invested too much time in reading past forum wars and too little in mining for knowledge.

Say.....internationally, what are the best countries to learn MMA from?

And I mean to produce a well-rounded fighter.
