    I have instructor certification in JKD Concepts and I can tell you:

    Bruce Lee was not an incredible fighter. Innovative? Yes.
    Somewhat ahead of his time? Yes.
    Fast? Yes.
    Really spearheaded cross training? Yes.

    Documented fight record showing W, L, D and K.O.'s? No.

    Second of all, I know my Ving Tsun works. It only gets better with time, unlike boxing of MMA which is too reliant on athleticism. Why do old boxers always lose to younger boxers? And I have competed in sport fighting, wrestling, and boxing, so I know what I mean. I was attacked recently in an alley and had to fight my way out of it, and wing chun was what came naturally because it represented the simplest response to an attacker, chain punches are really just a more direct way to jab with power. Boxing and bjj/wrestling rely to much on the artificial sport environment. What if there is glass on the ground? what if there are multiple attackers?

    I train with the "aliveness" you people are so hung up on, it's very possible to break a boen where I train.
