    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Hello!

    Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa,
    Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.
(I'm a Sikh, it's my greeting to all of you)

I just started training in 10th Planet and Japanese Jujitsu a few weeks ago, so I figured I would come say hello. Nothing much about me, I'm a pretty serious Musician, Caucasion, and a practicing Sikh. I live in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I really lucked out with the dojo I am training at, here is some info on my Sensai:

    Ari Bolden
    2nd Dan Black Belt:Goshin Jujutsu
2nd Dan Black Belt: Daito Ryu Jujutsu
    1st Dan Black Belt:Aikido
Purple Belt: 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu
President: Jiu Jitsu Society of BC
(The creator of Submissions101.com and highest ranked 10th planet practitioner in Canada.)

I am AMAZED at how much of a full body workout this stuff is! After my first class a few weeks ago, I couldn't walk for couple of days. I still feel stiff after classes, but it's not as bad. It's been a few weeks now of being a member, and I feel I have already learned SO much!

I think I'm in good hands too, no McDojo BS hurr!

    God bless you all,
    Swayze.

PS: Once I get a bit more money rolling in, I'll be doing Pankration classes twice a week at the same place. I currently can attend JuJitsu classes 6 days a week.
    (10th Planet 5 days a week)
(Japanese JuJitsu 3 days a week)

    Hi Swayze,

Great that you joined BS. Not sure the body can take 6 days a week of hard training Jujitsu. Sounds like fun out there. Does ARI techniques from his arts, or does he seperate them. 1 class of Goshin, 1 class of Daito, 1 class of Aikido, or does he mix it together with Bravo's 10th planet style of BJJ?

When will you ever find the time for Pankration?

All the best, see you on the threads>

Glad to have you, Swayze. It should be fun to have your Bravo-styled BJJ viewpoint.

He only teaches Japanese Ju Jitsu and 10th planet Ju jitsu. They are Seperate classes.
The Pankration is taught by a different guy at the same place.

http://www.10thplanetjiujitsuvictoria.com explains everything if you are curious.

I was just noting I have the option to do 6 days a week (I've edited it now). Pankration is after 10th planet classes on Mondays and Wednesdays only.
