OK, here's a serious response now:

Notice goon will ask what you are using them for as the weight and balance will determine if yours are appropriate for the exercises you are performing.

I remember that thread. I've grabbed those at Target and Sports Authority, and damn, those things slam on your wrist right where they should not. The handles are waaaay to short in relation to the size of the ball itself. You try to be careful, you "punch" through it when racking it at the top of a clean, but whatever, it lands badly right on the wrist instead of the meaty part of the forearm. The shorter handle these thing have completely defeats the purpose.
Tharuz, if you already have one, I suggest you protect your wrist well. Get a small towel and fold it until its two inchs thick. Then secure the folded towel on top wrist where the kettlebell hits the wrist. Use sports tape or a elastic wrist band (like those used for bench pressing and stuff.)
I actually do that because I do cleans with two 5-gallon jugs of water, and those things slam on my wrist real bad. The folded towels *might* give you some protection. I'll see if I can post some pics tonight... just an idea so that you can use your investment in a safe manner.Read this for flexibility and injury prevention, this, this and this for supplementation, this on grip conditioning, and this on staph. The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris -
