WuShu is a great great great self-defense ****. Very beautiful and spectacular, maybe WSers are very flexible and fatless, but they were get their ass kicked in any real fight.

Looking over the results, this vote is basically proving what we already know.... that the more known an art is, the more it gets hated. Lot of people here know of TKD, WuShu, BJJ, etc. so they form opinions either really strongly for or against them. While most people here know of Hapkido, not many people focus any attention on it, so they're not inclined to vote against it. But I bet if we held a vote for MOST effective art, it would also place near the bottom.

Just thought I'd exercise my talent for stating the obvious.

I agree with the TaeBo master. . .TKD is the most popular, hence most hated art. Is it the first choice for self-defense? I should think not. There are plenty of better styles for that. Is TKD is the "most useless"? Put it this way, let's change the question a little bit. . .Same question, only asked a different way:

"If you had to FIGHT someone with ten years of martial arts experience which one would you rather have it be"?

Are people still going to pick TKD?. . .probably. Does that make any sense whatsoever?
