I just do not see how these guys can be taken seriously. They look foolish up there on the stage. Like two dogs stuck! WTF :blob1:

To each his own I guess. Like they say, opinions are like assholes, everybody has one!

Don't think I will ever be a big fan of extreme arm wrestling but I feel, after further examination of this sport, maybe if their elbows were straped to the table instead of their waist, it would be more akin to the arm wrestling tradition as we know it here in the U.S.A. and would make for a more interesting game. No head butting of course! Don't you think!

BTW I am no stranger to ridicule myself. Some of the extreme fighting I have been involved with in the past and present, has been fround upon by many traditionalists and others. That's what we set ourselves up for when it comes to controversial sports in today's society. I guess you got to take it on the chin. Still think they got a screw lose. hee hee

yeah very good, very smart...but you know what would make this sport perfect?

    Armwrestling&MMA + CHESS

They should add chess to it and you have the greatest game of technique, strength, spirit and mind

I was refering to similar type events, not just this one in particular. Maybe I should have said, this event and others like it, meaning crazy, off the wall, whaked out sports (for lack of a better term) Maybe they should try to sell the idea in greece. No sale here, that's for sure. Then again, there are some sick people out there!

Me personally, I feel this is a basterdisation of fighting sports. Basterdisation. Is that a word.
I think so. If it's not, it should be, since bastardised is a word too.

This looks like something that myself and a bunch of other 'tards I went to college with would have come up with late on a Saturday night involving inordinate amounts of alchohol and super glue.

Seriously, do you think these guys would do this, left to there own device. No I dont think so. If you ask me, I think some idiot is willing to pay these guys decent money to beat on each other. And kudos to the fighters. Thats one more pay check in their pocket for getting beat on. Thats what they do! No disrespect in that.
My point is, The whole premise is ridiculous and laughable. Brutal yes. But this game blows!
