    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Actualy, I said, "Some think, events like this, is the evolution of mma.
    What do you think!"

I was refering to similar type events, not just this one in particular. Maybe I should have said, this event and others like it, meaning crazy, off the wall, whaked out sports (for lack of a better term) Maybe they should try to sell the idea in greece. No sale here, that's for sure. Then again, there are some sick people out there!

Me personally, I feel this is a basterdisation of fighting sports. Basterdisation. Is that a word.

Can you explain why it isn't a fighting sport itself? I can't think of any reasons why not.

It is a fighting sport for sure. Just a damn stupid one. Also: I wonder if head buts are allowed? :laughing7

If it's a fighting sport, then it can't be a bastardization of fighting sports. Because it is one. And headbutts aren't allowed. Anymore.

Bastard children are born from humans. Even though they are bastards, they are still humans. Yes?

Well, bastard in human terms means a child born out of wedlock. Unless you're suggesting that fighting sports can be religiously married, you fail at analogy.

I was implying that since MMA is its own unique sport with its own rule set, it's not bastardizing anything.

That's the thing about analogies, some people like to pick them apart just for the pissing contest factor. After all, there is nothing like a good pissing contest ay! Just for the sake of pissing, maybe the analogy shows how many serious martial artists see this kind of spectical as a sacrelage, against something they hold in high regard and respect. I think most people would agree that, this kind of behavior will bring the reputation of the fightgame/MMA community down a couple of notches if you ask me. That's no B.S. IMHO

Then you're in the wrong place. I call troll on you and ignore you henceforth.

Edit: Eh, just one more thing.
    serious martial artists
If you're not a troll and honestly think people who practice MMA are not serious martial artists, a great big
goes out to you. Post on MAP.
