Kinda makes me think of Frye vs. Takayama. By the way, fighting sports our now even more redneck than when Harold Howard was still fighting:

Howard would've been good at XRW. He only punches well with his right hand, anyway.
kinda interesting and funny to watch people fighting under incredibly restricted conditions... but i'd rather they did something like put a couple of guys in something the size of a phone booth, or had grappling comps which involved multiple fighters. that'd be more fun.
reminds me of this fighting style from africa i read about in a national geographic. they pad up their good arm and make it really heavy and solid, and use the other arm is just for defense. then they pound away. people would occassionally end up dying from head injuries and so on. and they smoked lots of marijuana.
Real men go at it armed with sticks and with their legs buried in the sand.
Ass slap at 1:30.
God, that's the dumbest thing ever.
If it were full contact, taped together, and the purpose was to drag the other guy over a line, or make his hand touch the ground, or make him fall, it would be great. This...
this is just....
Art Davie is one of the men behind this new gimmick. Art Davie is one of the co-creators of the UFC.
First Yamma, then this garbage. What will the original creators of the UFC think of next?
Well, at least Chess Boxing is an obscure yet somewhat creative...gimmick.
Chess boxing? Hot damn, that gives me an idea for Extreme Mahjong Fu! Will Tiger Style Yen Ming match all the tiles first, or will Wing Chun Xao Fen pull into the lead?!
Oh god I've fallen to their level
So...how does somebody, you know, win?
This looks odd. I might do it randomly for fun, but it's not something i'd take to seriously.
Something i've done in training: like eight or ten people, pair them up, everyone is restricted to a 3x3m square. Med contact, no headshots. You are allowed to use the other people as required. Its really only good for standup though, as you'd be trampled... And there isn't alot of room to throw roundhouse kicks etc. Good fun though.
