    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    That Yellowbook commercial

    YouTube - Sensei
There's just something that pisses me off about this commercial. Maybe it's the fact that it contains a loud Asian breaking a board, a guy in a red suit doing a jump kick, and some black belts doing air reps but no actual sparring.

I wouldn't mind if that karate girl jumped into my living room.

DIDN'T YOU KNOW?! The Chinese know everything! And they knew it 4,000 years before YOU did!

All that commercial does is make kids and parents alike think that all you have to do to stop bullies is yell, break boards, do aerial kicks, and bow to be a true martial-artist and have the ability to defend oneself........... bullshit.

Well, I guess in the future "r34l str33t" moves aren't needed, because all bullies seem to do is give wedgies, which poses little threat.

And apparently kids a young as 10 live by themselves as well.

Of course. Parents are too busy to raise kids. That's why yellow book helps them find the nearest McDojo to teach disciprine.

What I would like to know is, in this day and age, what the hell is keeping that old image of martial arts where there is no actual martial aspect alive?

But he does need a way to thwart the bullies from giving him wedgies.

And like so many unfortunate souls before him, he believes Martial Arts McDjojoism is the way to go.

    Poor kid.
