That messed up, I wont blame the art, but its sad to hear that happened to that poor child.

In case you didnt bother reading the whole article, that 2 year old girl had her intestines crushed.... They should kill fuckers like that

Actually, Gorilla beat me to the punch. I was saving that article for a future post. It's a shame really, that these tkd guys go around committing these types of reprehensible crimes.

Yes, this is not a cartoon, this is not phony movie violence. A child is hurt. Those who find amusement in this should be ashamed.

Mark Jensen, a local (Utah) martial artist is in jail for shooting a 17 year old girl in the head. He turned into a tweeker (druggie that uses powders) and I don't think that we can blame TDK, MT, Jui Jitsu, Aiki Jitsu or any of the other arts he practiced for his crimes. The local news paper ran a big picture of him teaching children, in uniform, back when he had a normal looking face. His mug shot looked like a speed freak.

There is a saying that I've heard in several different arts that goes something like this:

Avoid it if you can
Hurt rather than maim
Maim rather than kill
For all life is precious and none can be replaced
