    Hell yeah! Hell no!

TUF 9 United Kingdon vs United States.

Series nine of “The Ultimate Fighter” promises to carry more rivalry than any other after The UFC confirmed “TUF 9” will see the UK take on the USA.
The eighth series of the blockbuster reality show aired for the first time this week, with 32 fighters battling for the right to enter the famous Ultimate Fighter house.
Team coaches Antonio Nogueira and Frank Mir will then make their picks, with two fighters destined to win the lightweight and light-heavyweight divisions.

Glances of anticipation are already being directed at “TUF 9” though, a cross-Atlantic showdown that will undoubtedly raise levels of intensity among the fighters to new heights. Coaches for series nine are yet to be announced, although Michael Bisping has to be a favourite to lead the UK team after the show originally made the “TUF 3” winner.

Could be a good idea although the UK MMA scene still has along way to go to catch up with where its at in the United States in terms of popularity & quality.

While I'm glad that they are branching out for fighters outside of the U.S.A., I think it's stupid that they are doing this whole U.K. vs. U.S. angle. It is just going to reinforce all the retards that boo all non-American fighters and double the amount of annoying "USA! USA!" chants.

Also, they are doing welter weights and middle weights again on TUF 9. Why the hell don't they do heavyweights? The UFC's heavyweight devision is pathetic. They have already had three batches of welterweights four batches of middleweights on the show to date compared to only one batch of heavies.

If Bisbing doesn't beat Leben this whole concept is gonna tank. If he loses and still is coach for the UK its going to make his fight with Hendo kinda flaccid. Being that it will now be questionable weather or not the fight will be for the number 1 contender spot.

Ian Freeman, conceivably? His vicious demolition of Frank Mir makes good promo footage.

Freeman is a big deal in the UK. If 'high profile' means 'fighting currently, also winning, in the UFC and well known to retards like Razamataz' then, yes, Bisping is the only face that fits.

I think he is a better choice than Bisping. It will up his exposure to the US market, and help the mmatards realise that there are PLENTY of good fighters in the world.
NASCAR did the same thing with Mario Franchiti, Juan Pablo Montoya and a few others.

Then maybe the UFC will start to have stars from all over the world and not just mainly the US.
They should use someone like Freeman. Bisping doesnt strike me as a very good coach.
