    Omega Maniac Kimonos

Hey guys, just wanted to do a quick write up for Omega Maniac's Kimonos (OMK).

    www.omegamaniac.com

I hadn't heard of them before, but was in the realms of waiting around for the Shoyoroll gis to open up for ordering and waiting 6 months for development, but then I found these bad-boys.

They are a limited edition Kimono producer but make a set amount and sell them as soon as they are ready.

The style they have is quite great, I love the design and layout for the Kimono's while producing a great gi, they have added really cool aspects that lift the design on each of them.

I've be rolling in my Series 1 - "Blue Devil" since release (see below), they have a lot of the imagery on their Facebook page, and are quite active socially on Facebook .

The gi quality is fantastic, the stitching is great and I've had no issues from it at all. THe colours remain vibrant and love the iconic aspects over the kimono in subtle ways E.G. "Resistance is Futile" embroided across the back, lower bottom part of the kimono.

It's incredibly light, washes well, dries quick, have people asking about it at training. And it fits me really well (A4, 107kg, 6'2").

I've just ordered their new gi as well, the "Titan" (image below), their branding has shifted a little, but I think it's moved in a better direction (with the 'Omega' sigil), I was really hoping they call this one "Omega Red", heh, but still I'm happy: http://www.omegamaniac.com/Series-2-Titan_p_12.html

I'm really digging their kimonos, love the style, love I can have it 2-3 weeks after release (with shipping). They've started doing 'stash items' or 'free shipping' with their releases as well, and their customer service is incredibly quick and on the ball across Facebook + Email.

If you're looking for a new kimono/gi, or you're waiting on Shoyoroll, give these guys a go and I think you'll be plesantly surprised!

    Hi,

I'll be starting Judo soon, and in my country there are only a few judogi brands available: I've seen Adidas, Wacoku, and Daedo.

Does anyone know about the quality of Daedo judogis?, I've been unable to find reviews.
