    Shogun calls Rashad out

anyone interested in seeing this fight?

Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua says he would like his next fight to be against either Rashad Evans or Rich Franklin.
Speaking exclusively to Fighters Only on Saturday night, he also revealed that he expects to return to the Octagon in December.
Evans upset the bookmakers on Saturday by knocking Chuck Liddell out, which drew admiration from the Brazilian fighter.
“Rashad fought the perfect fight, he obviously studied Chuck and worked hard on his game plan,” he said. “He may be undefeated but everyone is there to be beaten and I would like to be the first one to do it.”

Rumor is that Dana already said Rashad gets a title shot now. I'll have to look for the source, but I know I read it.

He actually said it at the press conference. Makes me pretty unhappy, I think Machida has almost as good a case for a title shot, but obviously Rashad is just replacing Chuck's guaranteed shot had he won.

I hope Shogun actually trains for this fight. Maybe he's calling out Rashad be because he knows Rashad is next in line for a title shot.

From what I heard, the reason for his lack of cardio was a severe knee injury in training (ACL tear).

No, his lack of cardio was due to not training, which may or may not have been because he had a torn ACL.
