Ontario says no to amateur MMA (for now)

While it's annoying it's not so bad, in that the provincial government is at least responding to what OMMAA is doing and giving them something to work on for the next application.

although my province's politicians and bureaucrats are still a bunch of asshats

Banning MMA is like banning abortion.... It just forces it underground and endangers the health of the participants. **** Ontario!

Looks like braving the jungle that is the rez is still the only option to see fights around here. This sucks balls.

Typical Ontario politics..keeps us behind the 8 ball and the provincial gov't loses 10 - 15 years worth of tax money they could have otherwise enjoyed while they form comiittees and do research on how best to deal with "the MMA issue".
God, save me from the bureaucrats..
