Even if he won a base wrestling competition, to call himself a "military wrestling champ" is stretching it when you consider that the military has wrestlers that compete in the olympics. Furthermore, I've never even heard of a military base having a basewide wrestling(folkstyle) tourney. MACP and MCMAP tourneys sure, but wrestling outside of the military wrestling teams, that would be a first for me.

A DD-214 would be the best thing. It's the discharge paperwork that all servicemembers recieve when they leave the service and the proof that is requested by anybody attempting to verify military service.

I am active duty Navy so if you need more help let me know, I can shake a few trees and see what falls out.

Ask him if he was officer or enlisted.

If officer; LDO, ROTC, or Academy, if Academy what his designator and linear number were, if enlisted what his rate where he went to boot camp and A school, and what his paygrade was.

Ask him what years he was at Pensacola as well.

For what it's worth, I happen to know that there is a Racing team in Prague called BR LUBRAX who has a top tier former driver and coach named Karl Loprais (sometimes spelled Karel).

You might want to ask Cumspot if he is a racing fan. :p

Also as a wrestler, I bet money he never one anything with a pencil neck like that. Strictly an observation based on your pictures, though.

I'd also like to see what he considers welterweight in wrestling, cause last time I checked, in collegiate tournaments they only use numerical weight nomenclature with the exception of "super heavy".

No mention in this list of names of a Richard Cumpson or Haaker, but for all you history buffs, Brock Lesnar places second at 285. :p

That actually should have read;

If he was an officer, what his designator was and if he went to the academy what his linear number is.

All officers have a designator, the ones that go to the Naval Academy get assigned a linear number.

Sorry about that.
