yeah. Prismacolor markers. They're really saturated, but have a brief life span. Those drawings were done with pencil under-drawing on glossy paper. The markers work way better on the glossy stuff--they just glide over the surface and render some nice effects because the pigment/dye isn't absorbed right away into the paper fibers.

those kindoff remind me of "the monkey's teeth" a short animation i saw that was created as some sort of a class project by an old mental institution in france.
