The only one I ever saw was the incredibly gh4y Top 10 MA in which they filmed LARP fuckers stabbing and striking each other in the throat. It was a group of guys that had cultivated teh d34dly KEE, but no fighting whatsoever. It was cheesy and fake and totally masterbatory. I got the feeling the producers of the show don't know shznit from shineizzle
If you want to know what the best martial arts are, have masters of each kind fight each other. Oh wait... they have done that haven't they.....:evil6:

I only saw the Shaolin Kung fu special. It was entertaining, but that's about the only good thing going for it.

I'm in the vain of "They all sucked" except the Deadly Arts show on Muay Thai. I liked the fact that she admitted during the show that out of all the martial arts she's tried, Muay Thai was the most demanding physically. She also worked her butt off even though she was sick and you could tell cause she looked like crap. The other shows of that series sucked though. The one on Cap was ok...but only slightly. For the most part, they all do. The ones I remember seeing when I was younger, I thought they were so cool. I even remember the "Human Stun Gun" fellow setting a "world record" for knocking out the most people at once...what a load!

I think I saw that one. It was a bunch of middle-aged out of shape white people in Iowa or something hitting each other in the throat to become stronger or some bullshit. Then one lady got knocked out but she played it off like she was just soooooo relaxed that she didn't know they even hit her. Wish I had seen the one on MT. I saw one on Ninjitsu, it was crap.

Was that the "Wheel of Life" special? I saw that presentation in person and was amazed at the time.

Years later I just smack myself on the head as I discovered the parlor tricks they used one by one. I even found out one way to break a load of cement bricks to impress people.

What will it take to educate the people responsible for spreading this misinformation? Are we just going to have to go around knocking/choking out every Bullshido practitioner we encounter until the message is heard?

The best discovery show ever would be.

Top ten promoters of BS in martial arts vs. 10 top ten deadliest sharks.

(Yes, I am watching shark week- always thought they were cool)

By the way, didn't they list Wing Chun as the #1 martial art?
