    i'm an aikido practioner, so i was just curious. usually the only reason to move like that in aikido is to relieve pressure from a wrislock.

    if anything, as in aikido, it's body mechanics and timing combined with a dedicated attitude, not some mystical force

    Dudes, you don't have to download it just "open" it from the website. The reason the man is being "twirled around" is from the direction of the energy he is receiving. It's nothing mystical, I just choose to call it CHI. For me, CHI is just your energy in motion. Push hands is just training tool to help with the martial side of the art; it's not fighting per se. It's quite easy to see why it can be useful in fighting....
