Of course its legel. What laws would it break? There's no law that says a site on the internet needs to be viewable to any persons they don't want it to be. NBC has distrubation rights for the olympics only in the US. So if they allowed people to view it that were out of the USA they'd be breaking the contract they have with the IOC.

I never even saw wrestling on TV I was kind of dissapointed. I didnt see wrestling, judo, TKD, fencing, or anything I really wanted to watch on aside from boxing. Every place they should have had some olympic judo they have horses trotting in figure eights, bad minton, and something with a chick dancing with a hoola hoop.

This olympics sucked this year spenser mango lost, so did Ben Askren damn. Spenser said he had another olympics in him and his lil brother Ryan Mango is a beast and he has plans to wrestle in the olympics. Everybody says Askren is going to do mma.

second that... other than some boxing ,contact-sport coverage was really poor.

example...an American Gold Metal in fencing and all that gets shown are highlights - after the fact - and a lame interview.

...although watching women's beach volley ball ain't all bad...

Uhh all gutwrenches i see in wrestling leave the performer at BEST in the same position he started off in, and at worst somehow ends up on the bottom. How can any grappling technique which has risk but no reward have martial application -- unless i'm seriously missing something.

gutwrenches are a scoring techinque in free-style wrestling - expose your opponents back to get points. A wrestler skilled at this can run up some quick points.

I'm curious - what are people's point of view on how wrestling, and olympic level wrestlers in particular, compares to BJJ regarding success in MMA? One better or more effective than the other??
