US Pankration Championships - How to qualify
United States Pankration Championships
This is for Amateur, non-licensed fighters only.
Divisions for Men ages 18 and older; Women ages 14 and older; Male Teens ages 14-17; Kids ages 11-13; kids ages 8-11 and kids ages 7 and below.
You must qualify to compete for the National Championships -See below:
Body Strikes, Takedowns and Submissions
Double Elimination Tournament
Championships Belts awarded to all 9 Men's Weight Divsion Champions.
Custom State Championship Medals awarded to all tournament placers.
WILD CARD QUALIFIERS
To qualify for the National Championships as a Wild Card you must submit a Wild Card Application with one of the following circumstances: Wild Cards are not guarenteed spots on the tournament.
1. You must live outside a reasonable driving range from any qualifiers. List all your past competition experience
2. Show that competition in your specific division was not available at a Qualifier in your region. (Mainly for the kids and Women divisions) List all your past competition experience.
3. Placed in a 2007 Sanctioned Tournament but was unable to compete in a 2008 event because of injury, travel or illness
PAST QUALIFIERS - Top 3 placers in beginners/ Novice divsions and Top 4 placers if only one Skill Divsion and Advanced/ Open Divsions. Weigh and divsion does not have to be the same as what was qualified in.

08 National Team Championships - All participants are qualified.

Awesome. I'll fight when you guys come to michigan.
Or even northern ohio/indiana/illinois.
Hell, i know a ton of guys who would fight, from all ages.

AUG25th in Milwaukee,WI would be closer that ILL. would it not, 3moose1?16 years till retirement.

3moose1, they have pankration every now and then in Eagleriver WI, thats very close to the michigan/WI border .16 years till retirement.

I concur with Moose on the abscence of Pankration in the Wolverine State. It would be great for guys like me who like MMA but are yet frightened of just jumping in the cage.

My son and I are on the fence on competing this sat., we are still banged up from the AAU judo nationals, if im not working, well probably compete, ill have to contact Rob Serrano and see if we can still get in.16 years till retirement.
