Why should normal person believe believe a single word say?

Take an average joe blow. Somebody who doesn't know jackshit about MA. Why should he believe your website over an inperson conversation with a WTF or Bujinkan instructor? Srsly, why should any regular guy believe a website of what seems to nothin but a bunch of MMA nutriders?

Say a product comes out that advertises itself as the bee's knees...

Say a bunch of reviews and reasons why that product does not function as advertised pop up.

People that actually do research are going to be more swayed by "negative"/realistic views then they are by some product or school talking themselves up.

Edit: unless of course they've already drank the kool-aid to a level which can't be helped.

Let's see, we had official investigations. We have reviews of schools and other stuff. We have lots of people who practice different styles of martial arts. For instance, Anna does dirty boxing, I used to do TKD, some guys do kung fu, some guys do MMA, etc.

Why should a normal person take a single word you say seriously, over the words of a website shock full of people who actually compete in contact sports and have a basis of experience for what they say?

He shouldn't believe a website. he should find out for himself by taking classes from the schools available in his area, and decide for himself depending on his goals.

I've learned alot from this website, yet I still refuse to learn grappling. Why? Because I don't like grappling. Whoopy do.
