BJJ/Gym balance

Recently I picked up several injuries whilst at the gym, including damage to both my knees and arms, and it's only recently the doc's gave me the all clear to start getting back into routine.

When I start back in September I'll have had an approx. 3 month absence from and form of weightlifting, and it has stunted my start into BJJ.

Usually I intend to hit the gym 4 days a week, and I plan to move the BJJ into two days, that way I have my balance of cardio/conditioning and strength/size building.

My fundamental question is what sort of program should I be intending to organise myself when I'm back in the gym? I plan to gain a bit in size as I've lost quite a bit during my time off, but want to get the strength fully bolstered, which will be aided by the BJJ without doubt. I would like if possible to move the 4 day to a 3 without suffering any potential knocks to gains that you'd get with a 4 day... well, all this after I go back to the start and get my form and technique corrected to avoid further injuries...

Any help would be great,

BJJ is for little guys with no big muscles. Stay in the gym until you are nothing but lumps and veins, then just show up and compete in BJJ tournaments.

A pitiful once a week at the moment, though I started roughly around the time my injuries took hold, it'll be moving up to two and when the classes are on, three times a week.
