The boo's during the Henderson fight were ridiculous, the sport has been around enough where you'd think there be some degree of intelligence at the live show. Sometimes people get it, and sometimes they are drunken slobs screaming when they aren't barbarically pounding each other. Here we have a sport criticized for its "brutality" and boo'd when its not.
I think people are too hard on Liddell. I dont think he's out of shape or washed up. I think as Rashad said in his post fight interview his whole plan was for Chuck to chase him into a corner and try to do what chuck does best, and answer with that over hand right. I think it has less to do with Chuck not being on top of his game, and more like Rashad having a great gameplan and executing it perfectly. I really wish the two could fight again, and considering Chuck got paid 500,000 for showing up which is over twice what anyone else got for winning, he'd be a moron not to fight again, washed up or not. If he loves fighting and gets a cool half mil for losing, why the hell not.
srsly, it was a "Randelmanesque" KO if you ask me.
Ken Shamrock=washed up
Liddell=I don't think so
i also thought of cro-cop randleman when i saw that punch.
Because it was a black guy punching a white guy?
