Of all the fights (and there were many good ones) Maia's stood out as possibly the fight of the night, the guy has a sick ground game!
Good on Fitch for hanging in the entire 5 rounds, guy is tough as nails ... as for Lesnar, well I wanted him to win until I saw him acting like a cock, seriously get some class.
It's also nice to see that someone else picked up on the "Okami, undefeated in the UFC" remark as well, guess that fight with Franklin didn't happen :P

Well, John Fitch got to experience "the next level" and it goes by the initials "GSP". Excellent fight all round.
I was pretty impressed by Lesnar... there's more than just mutant size to him. Any wrestler of his calibre should have no problem with a few submissions, so I believe that he really did not want a submission win. A camel-clutch would have been awesome, though. I'll assume he doesn't have the technique to escape a world-class submission grappler at this point, but I think that is only a few fights away for someone of his power and athleticism. Expect Kongo and maybe another striker in his future before he meets the likes of Gonzaga or Nogueira. (Or a Mir rematch.)Anyone who has the power to make you believe absurdities has the power to make you commit injustices.
