    khun kao this sunday!!

2 of my guys are fighting in www.khunkao.com this Sunday at 3 pm. If your in the D.C metro area...or even if your in NY or Philly, you should come on out and watch. The event takes place at the D.C asian festival and should be a blast. Sure beats church!

This entire festival is a *MUST* for any local martial arts enthusiasts and fight fans!!!!

On Saturday, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. we are offering an entire day of interactive martial arts demonstrations, including Karate, Kung Fu, Escrima, Krav Maga, Yoga, Capoeira, and more!

At 3 p.m. we have a very special appearance and performance by none other than Thailand's Kaensak Sor.Pleonchit, who is one of Thailand's best and most famous fighters of the last 30 years!!! Kaensak is the only fighter to win the prestigious "Fighter of the Year" honors twice! He is also a 2x Lumpinee and 2x Radjadamnern Stadium Champion!!!

On Sunday, we are offering an amateur fight card featuring 6 MuayThai & 2 MMA bouts! The gates open at 2 p.m. and the fights begin at 3 p.m. 5 of our MuayThai bouts will feature FULL RULES MUAYTHAI! Elbow & Knee Strikes to the head are permitted! Our MMA bouts follow the Nevada Unified Rules for amateurs, however I don't know if the latest changes to the rules have been implemented yet (this will be covered in our fighters rules meeting by the officiating crew)

I want to say a HUGE "Thank You!" Stick & Shadowdean!!!! Seriously, it's guys like you who make doing this worthwhile.... Also want to say that it was very nice to meet you in person, Stick! (Shadowdean & met at my previous event)

For all the SNAFU's that were happening, this event actually exceeded our expectations. I really look forward to having you guys at my next event, which is Saturday, October 18th at the Sports Center in Lansdowne, VA. Compared to this weekend, October's event should run like a well-oiled machine!
