konigun "ninjutsu" B.S. (Before Saija)

The focus of this thread is on bryce dallas’ claims of training with his fictitious master “saija” in Japan between the years 1972 and 1981. The photographic evidence in this thread proves that dallas lied about a significant portion of his whereabouts during this time.

Early versions of konigun’s “history” state the following:

“1972: Shidoshi Dallas started training under Shidoshi Saija.”

“1977: The only time Shidoshi Dallas has ever been knocked out. During a training session with Shidoshi Saija, while 13 years old, he was knocked out for 11 minutes.”

“1981: Shidoshi bryce dallas . . . his in-depth knowledge and extensive training in Konigun Ninjutsu; an eight-hundred year old art from Japan. Konigun Ninjutsu originated in Kagoshima, Japan on the southern island of Kyushu in the year 1196 A.D. bryce dallas began training under the instruction of shidoshi saija the 36th, sometimes written as saiga, in 1972.”

bryce frederick dallas was born on September 19, 1963, which would make him eight or nine years old when he allegedly began training with the fictitious master saija in Japan. The fiction of konigun "ninjutsu" is entirely predicated upon this myth. If dallas did not go to Japan when he was nine years old (1972), and train with master saija until he was eighteen years old (1981), then this fragile fantasy is fractured.

The 1981 class picture (apologies for the poor quality, the pic was taken of a photocopy) :

This photographic evidence shows that bryce dallas was NOT in Japan training with his fictional master saija as he claims.

Eliminating the years 1976 to 1981, this would leave only the years 1972 to 1975, when he was 8 to 10 years old, or if he went to Japan immediately after high school, from 1981 to his public debut in Grenada, MS in 1983, which would have given him no time to train his first two “black belts”, Travis and Richard Longmire. Three years as a child, or two years as a young adult, neither of which is enough time to master a martial art.

Very nice work. How did you come across his high school yearbook photos?
Also, for more thorough documentation, is there a sidebar or somesuch in the yearbook identifying him as Bryce Dallas?

I agree with TMC. If you could photo copy the liner notes with the names, that would be great. Also, if you could get a pic of the actual yearbook cover so, others could check it out independently.

The more corroboration the better good find.

I will scour the mountain of BS dallas has published over the years and see if this is stated anywhere. Would you also like to know what other ex-members have reported that dallas has said, or would you just like to know what he’s published on his website and in his training manual?

One of dallas’ ex-classmates contacted me on another message board and told me where he attended high school, as well as when he first read about the ninja in a magazine (1979). I took a trip to West, MS and talked to the local librarian. Luckily, she had children who attended East Holmes during those years, and volunteered to let me view them.
