I was banging this chick last year that did all this fire twirling stuff. She does it with this fire twirling company as a part time job.

    It gave me a headache.

sorry..i practice with a 6 footer. However, when I was going to elementary school, i would have to walk home through railyards and the like. one day, I guess I pissed off the school bully and he and i guess a friend of his decide to follow me home. Well, when things broke out, there was this rusty pipe lying around. A few hits with that and they took off. Wasn't pretty but no fight is and I made made it home with only a a slight cut on my chin, so I was happy:D
From that point, i would walk with a 4 or 5 ft stick to school everyday.

Lol, so no, i don't carry a long pole around, except when I go walking( where I live, it's not uncommon to have something like that for a walking stick to fend off dogs...my grandma still uses it..old lady can outwalk lots of ppl, lol.) But things i learn from using my bo..i can apply to other stuff.

There were other times where I actually use the 6ft recently but that involved family. Kinda doesn't count to me.

You can carry lots of things in you're pants. Especially if there baggy.

    Weakling.

Poi (Maori fire dancing) is good for dexterity, good aerobics, builds shoulders. Also I found women are more aroused by fire dancin than my ability to make other men submit (unffortunatly, cause I think I'm better at one than the other).

Anywho, don't do many weapons forms "certainly none of the new ones.

Fire spinning is good, you should try it, complex physical skill with noo pretention of "ancient unstoppable system of battle".

It helps with balance, cardio, and strength. Duh.

Come to think of it, every useless activity neccesarily serves some sort of purpose as long as someone says so.
