    Hell yeah! Hell no!

This Was Too Perfect Not To Share

I hate bullies. No, not the denizens of this site but the original kind.

I wasn't going to post this at first but it buoyed up my whole day.

My work buddy (the MT guy) and I were stuck in traffic, heading back to the office. We'd been sitting for a while when he pointed out the side at a young kid (I'm not good at ages, he was maybe 11 to 13) standing at a bus stop wearing his shiny white uniform and even shinier yellow belt.

I pointed at the tkd school sign across the street, then we saw an older guy who started hassling the kid. Older and a fair bit taller and heavier. We watched for a bit, the guy mouthing off and the kid doing his best to not be involved in trouble. He would turn away, not respond, moved to the other side of the bus apron, everything you'd expect out of a polite young guy. The harassment continued until Jeff said "f#@k this, park the truck." Now, he's a good full head taller than me, call it 6' 10" and he just plain looks like a guy who enjoys trouble.

I was just reaching for the gear lever when it happened. The asshole stepped around in front of the kid and reached out to push him. Excusing the language "Ka-Fucking-Boom"

The kid smacked him with a knife hand block and followed through with a beautiful round kick that took the guy across the side of the head. He dropped like a sack of wet flour. Jeff got out of the truck and called the kid over just in case the asshole got back up.

    He didn't.

We took the kid in the truck and got him home safely.

    It made my whole month.
