If anything, I can recommend NOT working in television production if you want to train consistently. Even if you're not scheduled to work on a certain day, your producer will undoubtedly finagle you into doing something.

Anything having to do with journalism is also ruinous on your martial arts training schedule. In addition to your bank account.

Nothing like a job delivering beer. You get good pay for driving a truck and a decent workout from lifting kegs and cases on and off the trucks and up and down stairs. Just stay away from drinking it and eating too much bar food. ;=)

Sounds like she has a pretty good going (if you like deviant fat men).
Seriously, check the temp agencies if you have some type of employable skill. You can possibly pick the shift work that best fits your schedule.
disclaimer: I have never worked for a temp agency so am open to humiliation if this is a bad idea.

hmm, temp agency. I worked for one about 5 years ago, it wasn't bad at the time. Maybe I'll look into that again. Thanks!

Temp agencies can really suck at times, but there are some decent ones out there. They can pull crap on you though, like drive you to a site in the middle of nowhere then fire you for "slacking off" and refuse to drive you back to the city.

The best job IMO is a firefighter. Around here they work 4 days on 4 off. When they're at work they have full use of a gym and weights as long as they're not actually out on a call. Pretty sweet set up but hard to get into.
