No Mr. Guerra, I, Devon Miller, am "Much Love". The last time I posted anything about you was in the nuttiest instructor thread on Feb 10, 2004 until your implied threat to come to our gym in San Marcos. Then I posted that I most assuredly would ask you to leave, call the police and press charges.
Everything I posted in 2004 was true. I liked you, I accepted you for your eccentricities (as a combat vet with PTSD), and I supported you with with my time and energy until I realized your pattern of behavior. You were narcisistic, self-absorbed, disrespectful, and rough with your ukes. And the actual training was quite dubious 80% of the time. I observed on many occasions that you do not adhere to the principal of balanced reciprocity. And I did not even know of your fraudulent credentials at the time!
You did tell me and many others in my presence that you were a Navy Seal and a combat vet in Nam. You told tall tales of UFOs and parachuting onto the back of a dolphin in the gulf of Tonkin, Military spooks tracking you and interrogating you every so often, and making a necklace of VC ears. Of course we cholked the tall tales/paranoid-grandios delusions up to PTSD from combat...And now we now that that was a lie too.
No one has even mentioned the fraud that is "mano de guerra" that you fraudulently represent as the lost Aztec fighting system of which your Grandfather was the Grandmaster.
Let it go Mr. Guerra. You are a good martial artist. Stand on your own merits. The truth shall set you free. -

In addition to what has been offered in the most recent posts (above), you all must realize that at the time he was in the GULF OF TONKIN, aboard the USS JOUETT, Mr. GUERRA had no formal schooling from the US Navy other than "boot camp" and a mandatory 3-hour sit-n-watch "Defensive Driving" video. He was 19 years old and otherwise freshly arrived from Basic Training. He reported aboard the USS JOUETT in December 1972... the Paris Peace Accords were signed in January 1973 (ending ALL US combat participation in Vietnam and all operations against the North Vietnamese - onshore and at sea)... and the USS JOUETT was thereafter stationed in INTERNATIONAL WATERS just beyond the entrance to HAIPHONG HARBOR. Its sole assigned task was warning all entering ships that the place was still MINED, and that they should "drive carefully".
There were no POWs aboard the USS JOUETT... NEVER! If he encountered any Navy UDT "Frogmen" it was because they were temporarily embarked aboard his vessel for transport. The last Navy SEALs in Vietnam (advisors) CAME HOME TO AMERICA IN NOVEMBER 1972 - before Mr. GUERRA even reported aboard the JOUETT.
I don't care how severely he personally "trained" in his chosen form of MA... or how early he got started in MA... Navy "Frogmen" and SEALs are absolutely HARDCORE when it comes to practicing to make people DEAD. None of them would have been the least bit interested in performing KATAS with a 19-year-old deck sailor.
"Much Love" has provided a very effective "witness statement" regarding Mr. GUERRA's false SEAL claims. The stories he recounts as having been offered by Mr. GUERRA bear all of the earmarks of the BS handed out by SEAL fakers. He didn't go ashore, he didn't perform "multiple tours in Vietnam", he wasn't "wounded", he didn't parachute onto the back of a dolphin, he wasn't in the Mekong Delta (either aboard ship or afoot), he didn't see ANY combat in person, and he most certainly didn't have a necklace made of collected VC ears.
Those are Mr. GUERRA's "adventure stories"... now go read what I wrote about SEALs sharing their memories/adventures in this thread and see if there's any difference -->LINKYSteve Robinson RM2(SEAL)
