Seriously, where is your skepticism in this thread?
OK, seriously, I'm an admitted aikidoka, been involved in martial stuff for three decades.

I have *never* seen anything that could not be explained by body mechanics.

The muay thai guy (of all people) in the office is a serious believer. We had a rather, umm, heated, discussion today. I figured that of all places to ask, this site would generate both sides of the debate.

As above, go ahead and move or delete the thread. It is going to get trolled regardless.

I eagerly anticipate hearing about your alternate theories regarding electricity.

I am not sure your "rules" leave any opportunity for discussion. I would say these rules preclude reason and logic from the discussion. They are almost emotional statements along the lines of "Dare to dream, you are only limited by your imagination!"

Work on the high percentage moves and stop being so forgiving to things because they might/kina/maybe/under the right circumstances work. [/seriousness]
    This thread is so serious.

Dude, it's like, I don't understand "if electricity can exist thus ki can exist."

You mean "because "I" think it can happen, that doesn't mean everyone will think it can happen"?

Look, I'm not trying to be a dick, I just fail to see where you are skeptical about something. Your comment:

I have *never* seen anything that could not be explained by body mechanics.
    Confirms this.

Sounds like the Muay Thai guy should have posted this thread, that's all.

EDIT: I was wrong, I guess I will move it to YMAS.

That's what old friend Google is for, my prairie friend. They are not "my" theories.

For example, have a look at the guy who thinks that gravity does not exist, it is all magnetics. And I use the word "theory" advisedly, since more than one have not actually been tested enough to make that status.

An untested theory is called a hypothesis. Don't confuse the two.
