I like it because 1. it is a bit more "deeper", with the character facing moral dilemmas.
    2. He isn't all flip out kill everything. He takes his hits, gets captured. "Realistic."

Then again I've only watched a coupla episodes.

Samurai Jack rules, too bad they don't show it here anymore... & what's up with all you bodybuilders changing your avatars all of a sudden; Is it somehow related to me doing that ;)....

I wouldn't comparae the two really. Ruro Ni Kenshin is historical fiction Anime and Samurai Jack is what I could only term "American Art-house Anime". The style its done in is just amazing, with the cuts to wide screen, perception changes, and use of colors.

You could watch an entire episode without any of the dialog, it's that artfully done.

Ruro Ni Kenshin is based on a similar time period as the movie The Last Samurai, when the country has shifted socially and former Samurai have become Ronin. I forget what his name is, but the character with the logogram for "BAD" on the back of his Gi, is an actual figure in Japanese history reknowned for his martial exploits.

Great show. Has action, humor, saddness, and omg don't let the ACLU know. It even has moral lessons in it.

there was an episode a day or so ago where jack finds the ruins of his home, probably one of the best episodes i've seen. the entire thing has maybe 5 lines of speech. it's great.
