So when you kick/knee, you hit with all the rage your ligament possess, because its real master is angry over his death.

That is not conducive to passionate cunnilingus, my friend, let me assure you.

    Student,

Thanks for all the info, I am planning on getting it checked out as soon as I have insurance or have scraped together enough cash to have it looked at. I have decided at this point to just take it easy as much as I can and tough it out until I can get it taken care of.

Ronin - I think that would be smart - no sense possibly doing further damage if something is torn. You could probably do the exercises I posted since they should not aggravate either a torn ACL or Meniscus (of course you might have something else...) and just start getting the leg strong because if you have surgery, that will be very important to do pre-surgery.

If you want to get more opinions from lots of people who have gone through this go to http://www.kneeguru.co.uk/KNEEtalk/index.php and post your question there.

If physical therapy is covered by your insurance, or you can afford it, it is incredibly helpful. If nothing else, it really helps you know how much and in what ways you can stress you joint to maximize your healing. To regain ROM after my tear my PT had me (among many other exercises) walk across a room balanced on my heels with my legs as straight as possible. It hurt intensely; I would have never tried without his encouragement because it felt like I was being stabbed, but I credit that, more than any other single exercise, with regaining mobility.

Lars - that was 1 of 54 different exercises I was given during my post-op PT. I think PT is a must when you have your ACL replaced and finding a good physical therapist (try to find one who works with athletes/professional sports teams) can really help - I think this is one area that really is the difference from people having a poor outcome after this surgery or a great outcome. Luckily most martial artists/athletes enjoy working out so this usually is not a problem.
