Yah I'm curious about that too.
Though I dunno why you'd want to cut down on stinky farts anyways. That's my main submission technique."This is why we are here. For one thing, it helps with digestion (and subsequent defecation via stool softening.)

Also, it makes sures that you are hydrated (there is such a thing as having a dehydrated gut), and help reduce/control stomach acidity. This creates a good environment for your healthy bacteria... aand avoid problems with ulcers or uber-acid **** burning and peeling the skin the living tissue out your pooper on the way out - anyone that has eating one uber-spicy chiplote burrito too much with coffee or beer knows this too painfully well. It's like passing a burning coal or something. :tongue6:
Moreover, it helps with portion control: your brain takes several minutes to realize the stomach is full (which is one of the reasons why people don't realize at first that they are over-eating.)
Controlling your portions, minimizing the chance of above-normal stomach acidity and being hydrated helps with proper digestion and defecation.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris -

My farts actually got to the point of clearing the office and making some people retch. A few months later this was also accompanied with stomach pains and 'toilet trouble'.
I thought it was lactose intolerance but it continued.....
To cut a long story short, by eliminating certain things from my diet, I discovered it was Oats doing this. Lovely Oats, the corner stone of my breakfast :(" The reason elite level MMAists don't fight with aikido is the same reason elite level swimmers don't swim with their lips." - Virus

I don't know if I love Macho more for his intelligent and well thought out posts, or this.

Make sure you are taking the time to chew your food well enough. I used to be a fast eater and think nothing of it, I guess it caught up to me and I started to have really bad indigestion. Someone offered me the advice of chewing my food better and it literally changed my life, I became more regular and my stools were healthier as well as solving the flatulent problems that I was experiencing. Remember, your stomach doesn't have teeth!
