Hhhmmmm...well, Jerome LeBanner has fought MMA along, of course with Cro Cop and Mark Hunt. All are pretty badass kickboxers, but as for straight up Muay Thai...

Orlando Weit is a very accomplished muay thai fighter. He doesn't have the greatest MMA record, but he brutally destroyed and out of shape kick boxer at UFC II. Eleven days after UFC II he won the 1994 Muay Thai World Championships.

Also, even though he is an obvious choice and some may not consider his muay thai background "pure enough" Anderson Silva is a definite pick for the best muay thai in MMA right now. To add to his style credibility, Anderson Silva also has fought in straight muay thai matches before and actually goes to thailand to train from time to time.

Who is 'maliapet' and if he's so badass how come he doesn't have an MTV documentary about his?

How come no one has mentioned Bas Rutten?
