Just for clarity, I was an Air Marshal from 2002-2007.
Can you provide any evidence or proof. Not that I doubt you, but some clear proof would help the investigation. This way, it is not just hearsay.

What does the Orange County police think about this?

I am afraid the only way is to call the Field Office in your area and see if they can confirm that he was a FAM at one time. All current and former FAMs are kept in an easily accessable database for quick confirmations. Contact LAX Transortation Security Administration Office of Law Enforcement.

    Cool.

How did you come to know he was an air marshal?

How would we obtain access to this information?

    BTW a quick joke:

How does Jim Wagner break the tension on a tense counter-terrorism mission?

"Can I have a coke along with that bag of peanuts?"

The allegation is that he lists all of his flights as a air marshal as "counter terror" missions which seems kind of misleading if nothing ever happened on them.

Here is a list of the requirements needed to be a air marshal.

    http://federalgovernmentjobs.us/jobs...l-1111204.html

It also has some contact info in there. Don't know if it would be useful for this thread though.

Unlike military records, I would think most law enforcement service records would be confidential. Someone outside of law enforcement circles may be able to find out simple stuff like length of employment. But circumstances of termination, voluntary or involuntary would probably be a confidential personnel issue only available to a court or other law enforcement agency conducting a pre-employment background investigation.
The employment records of air marshall's may be available thru the "Freedom of Information Act", since they are federal employees. But the act only applies to federal records, so other (city or state) law enforcement employment records would not be available.

This is a link to another forum discussing Mr. Wagner.

    http://selfprotection.lightbb.com/se...wnet-t6252.htm

I will now start copying Mr. Wagner's comments from his own website which can be found here.
