I wish more people would measure things in fortnights.

Maybe your just straining your neck too much, or clenching your jaws too much. That was one of my problems, clenching. It would give me nice headaches.

Last night I drank twice as much as normal and had more water beforehand (500ml water before, 500ml water during, 500ml powerade during) and I only got a slight headache. I got smothered and choked quite a bit last night and it didn't affect me so much.

    Thanks guys!

Headaches after rapid changes in posture could be caused by many different things, could be muscular, could be poor vascular tone leading to transient cerebral hypotension (something that older martial artists/fitness enthusiasts need to be careful of) or it could be the opposite, ie hypertension. Some people also have oversensitive baroreceptors in their necks which can trigger drops in heart rate and blood pressure when their neck is kinked or if they have too tight collars. There are plenty of other possibilities, To come with a definite answer more info would be needed.
Bottom line: Get a medical check up to be safe.
